Lewis Lloyd is a Leapwise Associate Consultant with a background in research on technology and public sector effectiveness. He previously worked at the Institute for Government, managing research projects and leading on quantitative analysis in areas such as Brexit and civil service reform, ultimately specialising in the use of data and technology to improve government decision making.
Lewis has worked on research and consulting projects covering topics including the climate crisis, cyber security, policing and healthcare policy making in the UK. A number of these projects have focused on strategic foresight, supporting organisations to integrate ‘futures’ thinking into their decision-making processes to better prepare them for an uncertain world.
Lewis has a BA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc in Intelligent Systems from the University of Sussex, where he focused on AI. His research has been featured on the BBC as well as in the FT, Guardian, Times and elsewhere.
