Careers
Do you come from a top tier consulting or organisational development background?
Do you want to apply your skills to transforming outcomes for the public?
We are a growing firm and welcome brilliant people to join our team, partner with us on new projects, or join our wider ecosystem as a freelance associate.
Our Offer
You might be a Leapwise person if you:
- Care about public impact and making a difference across the policing, justice and public safety sectors
- Enjoy working closely with senior leaders to solve complex problems
- Value your work-life balance, in line with our 9-day fortnight policy
- Want a clear progression pathway, competitive salary, training opportunities, and flexible working
- Prefer working in a non-hierarchical culture where everyone can contribute their own ideas
This is underpinned by our 4 values:
We do meaningful work
We strive to do work that makes a positive difference for our partners and society. We do this in all our core projects and programmes — it means we don’t do work for the sake of it, only where it can improve public outcomes and genuinely seek to improve things.
We learn and grow together
We believe in and aim to develop everyone’s potential — striving to be open to challenge, to embrace new challenges, experiment creatively, and support our people and clients to develop.
We champion decency and openness
Concepts like caring are tricky at work — as there will always be occasional tensions between what is right for the organisation and what best supports the individuals working in or with it. Decency is, however, a non-negotiable for our team and we aim to champion openness and inclusivity.
We give and take ownership
We take responsibility and initiative but also empower others to do the same, aiming to give people the ownership that helps them do their best work. We are all leaders in some areas and good followers in others.
Our Roles
Intern and Consultant
Our entry-level roles give you the opportunity to learn and develop early in your career. With guidance and support from more senior staff, you can build a robust consulting skillset while increasingly taking on more responsibility within projects.
Senior Consultant and Manager
As a senior consultant or manager, you’ll take a leading role in shaping client engagements and driving projects to successful outcomes. That includes mentoring more junior colleagues, building your networks within our core sectors, and developing expertise that will equip you for further career success.
Senior Manager and above
Our more senior roles at Leapwise are all about empowering you to lead successfully. Whether that’s managing major consulting programmes, growing our business in line with your areas of interest, or spearheading internal initiatives, we want to give you the tools to achieve the things you’re most passionate about.
